Memorial Services
Valor provides memorial services to honor our patients, families, staff and the community. All are invited and refreshments will be served after the service.

Walking Through Jello
Valor HospiceCare is committed to community outreach efforts that improve the emotional and psychological health of people experiencing grief and loss. These efforts include our 5-week workshop, Walking Through Jello (“A process of finding solid ground while experiencing loss”) and grief and loss support groups. This is for anyone who has experienced a loss: death, divorce, loss of a pet, a job, a friendship or their health. The classes offer a look at understanding grief, emotions, a need for support and a balanced life. Learning to be more self-aware, with attention to the mind, body and spirit as loss is processed, respecting and honoring the past, hoping for the future and living in the present. Our program is free, and handouts and snacks are provided:

Green Valley - Walking Through Jello - 2012
Our next Green Valley Walking Through Jello classes are facilitated by Peggy Livingston, GC-C, and will be held on the following dates:

February 22, March 7, March 21, April 4, April 18, May 2

Our Advance Directives seminars have been well received in Arizona's communities. Get information on Advanced Directives such as Durable Medical Power of Attorney, DNR Order (Do Not Resuscitate), "5 Wishes" and Vial of Life. An attorney will be at the meeting to answer questions regarding Arizona state laws when pertaining to these matters. Area Fire Department representatives will have Vial of Life information and answer questions. Free! No RSVP needed.
