About Hospice and Insurance Benefits

Hospice is an 100% covered benefit of Medicare for services related to the terminal illness or disease and pre-authorized by the Hospice team. Valor is an AHCCCS/ALTCS (Arizona's Medicaid Program for Long Term Care)provider and accomodates most private insurance companies. We also offer additional payment options, including services for managed care (HMO, PPO, etc.) and private pay.

Valor ManagedCaretm Program

Valor's holistic approach to care is being recognized by managed care organizations nationally. We see palliative care as a continuum of care, originating at birth and continuing through the life process. This "Philosophy of Care" makes us extremely different than other organizations.

Our partnerships with local and national commercial insurance firms, provides for unique services for new programs that follow Medicare Advantage services.

Through education, we are educating managed care companies about shifting their focus to care for the whole person, while increasing services for hospice and palliative benefits. Valor's care is organized around understanding what is important to a patient's life. Through these partnerships, we ensure that patient benefits are provided seamlessly.

Valor HospiceCare & PalliativeCare will accept reimbursements for care of patients when in HMO, PPO or related provider plans. This also includes participation with many commercial insurance companies that provide long term care policies.
